Terms of use

These terms apply when you sign up for and use VietGara, the garage management service of VietTechno (“we”). By creating an account you confirm that you have read and agree to them.

1. The service

VietGara is software provided over the Internet for garages to manage customers, vehicles, quotes, repair orders, parts stock, settlement, receivables and reports. Features may be added or changed over time. Features marked “coming soon” on the website are not part of the current service.

2. Accounts

• You give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secret. Turn on two-step sign-in for the owner account.
• The garage owner is responsible for the people they invite into the garage and for the permissions they give them.
• Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access to an account.

3. Trial, plans and payment

• A new garage may try every feature for 14 days, with no payment card.
• Plans are charged per month in Vietnamese dong; the limits on garages, staff and transactions a day for each plan are shown on the pricing page and in the app.
• When the trial or a plan expires, the garage needs to choose or renew a plan to keep creating new data. We tell you before a price changes, and the new price does not apply to a period already paid.

4. Permitted use

You may not use VietGara to break the law, infringe the rights of others, spread malicious code, try to reach another garage’s data, get around technical limits or overload the system.

5. Garage data and personal data

• The data a garage enters into VietGara belongs to the garage. We use it only to provide the service.
• For the personal data of a garage’s customers, the garage is the controller and VietTechno is the processor acting for the garage. We process it on the garage’s instructions, keep it confidential, apply the security measures in the Privacy policy, use sub-processors only where the service needs them and under contract, help the garage answer the requests of data subjects, tell the garage when we find an incident affecting the data, and delete or return the data when the service ends. This section is the data-processing agreement between the garage and us.
• The garage is responsible for having a lawful basis, such as the customer’s consent, to enter and process customers’ data in VietGara.
• Our staff read a garage’s data only when the owner allows it, for a limited time, and every read is recorded for the owner.

6. Intellectual property

VietGara, its interface, source code and documents belong to VietTechno or its licensors. We grant the garage a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the term of its subscription.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep the service running reliably and support you through the guide, phone, Zalo and e-mail. The service may pause for maintenance or because of events beyond our control; we do not yet commit to an availability level in a separate document.

8. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit or lost data caused by a garage’s misuse of the service, and our total liability does not exceed what the garage paid for the service in the last 12 months. The garage is responsible for the accuracy of the quotes, documents and figures it creates.

9. Ending

A garage may stop using the service and close its account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, after notice where possible. Before closing, the garage can export its data with the Excel and PDF exports. After closing, the garage’s data is deleted or anonymised, except what the law requires us to keep.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; important changes are announced before they take effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam. Disputes are settled first by negotiation; failing that, by the competent court in Vietnam.
